Welcome to this audio tour guiding you through the public transportation system in Beyoglu Istanbul. This tour originated from our research focusing on the ways women experience their daily mobility in the public transportation system and possible resulting inequalities. Firstly we will guide you through the railway system and afterwards we will show you a different mode of transportation namely the Dolmus. In this way we will give a cognitive inside in the these different ways of transportation guided by our podcast where we talk about our findings regarding the different gender experiences in the daily mobility of the transportation system in Beyoglu.
